So you claim that you went to listen to the testimony of the editorial staff of an proafrica newspaper, to know the truth on a subject already discussed in France?

You want to persuade us that for a subject already closed for a long time, and under the cover of good intentions, you discussed calmly with three African journalists?

Sorry but why do you question me about yesterday?

You amuse us … Forzzio. You claim not to know?

Do not play the ignorant, not with us!

I must say that I’m a little lost … Except for the accident of the last week I don’t have …

We have heard enough of you and that does not look bright for you!

We are not convinced and our advice is to stop your small game at once!

If you cooperate from this moment, things will be less hard for you.

By admitting right away, we will be able to explain that you are very cooperative and that will set the attorney I, a good mood.

What are you accusing me of!!

Murder!! The murder of the whole editorial staff of the newspaper Le Griot!!

Of the horrible massacre of Misters Sy, Konaté and Miss Issiaka!!

We are now going to take you for a formal interrogation on our premises.

You are going to follow us at the station where we shall find out the truth!

It’s crazy!!! It’s a joke!! On what bases do you suspect me??

Your hands are the ones of a killer!!

The blood on your hands looks like a good start!!

Yes, naturally. Come in … You can sit down on the sofa.

According to our information you were at the newspaper Le Griot, yesterday.

It came to us that you went to the editorial staff of an African newspaper at about 2:00 pm, yesterday.

Can you explain us the reason of your presence in the surrounding of this newspaper ?

Tell us why you visited the editorial staff of Le Griot.

Naturally hmmm may I prepare some tea?

Yes, you may.

You can.

I … I went to Le Griot, to speak with some of the journalists … I am currently investigating into the various actors connected to the Rwandan conflict of 1994 …

Africa.

You are interested in Africa?

Hmmm yes, in fact rather in the involvement of various international actors in the conflict, as France for example but also …

Sir, our country is, on no level, involved in this conflict.

The French soldiers helped the Rwandan families.

The position of our Minister of Defence is very clear on this subject.

There are even photographs of soldiers holding Rwandan children in their arms.

Hem … Yes.

Sir! Open up!

Sir open? … I hardly think I will come and open. Between my researches not advancing, Mael with whom I drank myself off yesterday … It didn’t went much anywhere this interview at the Griot, moreover I wonder if they weren’t a little bit racist this guys … And to top it all I think caught a cold … This is definitely not my week, and … I … I … Police???

Hyène qui court…

Hyène qui courtPetite étude d’une hyène en mouvement. Pas de rapport avec l’actualité politique et le charognard dessiné ici. Je la trouve mignonne cette hyène.

Small study of a running hyena. No relationship with the political current events and the scavenger drawn here. I find this hyena quite cute.

Femme Forte n°2

To keep on with this series of “women who face”, I naturally thought of the Rwandan women precisely of the Tutsis ones, who were forced to take their fate in hand during the massacres of 1994.

This post comes with a small thought for the friend Sylvain Berkat with whom I worked on the subject about 10 years ago.
